TCNJ RPG is a single player role-playing-game taking place at The College of New Jersey.  This game, which will be designed chiefly to entertain, will focus on a strong narrative as well as parody clichés of the RPG genre itself The College of New Jersey, and, to an extent, all colleges.

Current Game Design 

The current design of the game leaves out many possible elements discussed in the original design documentation, so that it is suitable for development by a small team.

 

Why create this game?

TCNJ RPG represents a chance for prospective TCNJ students to learn more about the college in an entertaining way; in this manner, the game is intended to function as a recruitment tool.  In addition, the game is intended to have a compelling, yet absurd plotline so that the player can see negative aspects of college in general in a humorous light.  Even if they do not understand all the small jokes that are in the game, there will be enough stereotypes about the college experience that they will get the humor.
